Once these precious souls have been saved it can be a long time before they are well enough physically and emotionally to find forever homes.

Adult dogs in the South suffer universally with Heartworm and need months of expensive medical care. Due to lack of inoculation Southern dogs pick up life threatening viruses which require very expensive medical care. Some puppies have such weakened immune systems that they fall victims to many life threatening conditions. Our Adoption Events help the rescues and shelters with the costs of these medical bills and longterm care.

We work with teams of marvelous behaviorists who help to balance these stressed pups to prepare them for adoption and then follow up with them once they are adopted to help with transitions. We like to set up the Dogs and their new families for a successfu life together.

we are members of caring communities that help people who can no longer keep their pets and help them to find new loving homes for them.

Shelter dogs can be "behind Bars" for a very long time. They don't just pop out and behave like "normal" dogs. We partner with groups involved in enrichment programs for shelter dogs who have been in cages for years.

We also promote the humane raising of all farm animals.
