Adopt

everyone wants to adopt!

However, people are very reluctant to go to shelters because they fear the pets may be euthanized if they don't bring them ALL home, or they think the shelters are all full of undesirable dogs. Much of this is not true but people believe this way.

Our organization Always Adopt hosts Super Dog Adoption days in Rhode Island. All these dogs are safe and saved so any not adopted will go back into rescue until they are adopted. Since 2013 We have had two events per year with over 400 dogs and puppies coming to each event. We partner with local rescues, shelters and businesses to create this amazing collaboration. 

To date we have helped over 7,500 dogs find loving homes.

We give these dogs exposure to adoptive families in a fun friendly atmosphere. Almost 3,000 people come to each event. The whole family comes, including their own dog so they can chose the best fit. All the dogs are temperament tested and all are on leash, no cages. we now have over 700 volunteers who mostly help as handlers on the day, but many help throughout the year. We are now able to help the rescues with adoption screening. 40 of our volunteers screen all the applicants before the events, so we are making sure their pets are placed in good families.
